Walmart Seller Fee Calculator 2026

Walmart Marketplace charges just one fee — a referral fee by category — with no monthly subscription, no listing fees, and no transaction fees. The real variable is whether to use WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services) or handle shipping yourself. WFS costs $3.45–$6.50 per unit depending on weight, but wins the Buy Box more often. This calculator shows your exact profit under both fulfillment models so you can make a data-driven choice before your first shipment.

Walmart Marketplace seller FAQ

Walmart Marketplace charges a category referral fee (8–20%) with a $0.30 minimum per item. There is no monthly subscription, no listing fee, and no transaction fee. If you use WFS, you pay an additional fulfillment fee of $3.45–$6.50 per unit based on weight tier.

WFS usually costs less per unit than self-shipping heavy items ($5.45 WFS vs $7+ carrier rates on a 2 lb SKU), and WFS listings win the Buy Box more often. Use the Compare Both tab here with your actual shipping quote — WFS isn't always cheaper on lightweight items under 1 lb.

Walmart and Amazon both charge ~15% on most categories, but Walmart has no FBA-style storage fees on top of WFS fulfillment. Amazon also charges inbound placement, long-term storage, and PPC is more competitive. On identical COGS, Walmart often shows 2–4 margin points higher on bulky home and sporting goods.
